The Live Streaming Summit, which focuses on the challenges and opportunities in delivering large-scale live events and live linear channels to multiple screens, will grace the New York Hilton Midtown on May 16 and 17. The event, part of Streaming Media East, will cover every step of the live video workflow, including ingestion, transcoding, management, protection, distribution, analytics, and post-event evaluation.
Rainbow Broadband’s Founder and President, Russ Hamm, will participant on the "Latency Sucks: So What Can You Do About It?" panel, which will address the streaming of live events and how to cut down latency on both startup times and lag times. The panel takes place on Tuesday, May 16 from 2:45-3:30pm.
