Rainbow Broadband, a high-speed carrier class network, has added to its peering connections with Amazon AWS and Symantec. Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable, scalable, low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world. Symantec provides security and information management systems to individual customers, small businesses, and global organizations. Peering gives Rainbow Broadband clients direct connections with these critical business services.
Other previously announced peering relationships include Apple, Google, Netflix, Yahoo!, Digital Ocean and Linode, providing Rainbow Broadband customers with exceptionally fast access to some of the world’s most vital content providers.
These relationships are enabled by Rainbow Broadband’s PoP (point of presence) at 325 Hudson, a media hub and Netrality Properties-managed carrier-neutral interconnection facility.
