Rainbow Broadband Establishes a Point of Presence at 325 Hudson, a Netrality Property

Company brings Rainbow Broadband to the carrier-neutral interconnection facility

Rainbow Broadband has established a Point of Presence (PoP) at 325 Hudson, the rising Carrier Hotel and Meet Me Room in New York City. The new PoP grants 325 Hudson’s carrier and enterprise customers full access to Rainbow Broadband’s network.

In business for a decade, Rainbow Broadband now stands as one of New York City's largest and most experienced fixed wireless providers. The reach of its carrier class network includes 300+ buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island City, connecting 500+ customers to a collective 12 Gigbs of capacity. Many of the fastest growing companies in social media, digital, finance and beyond count on Rainbow Broadband daily, including BuzzFeed, Vice, Kickstarter, Vayner Media, Samsung, Adobe, Twitter, and many more.

With its proven expertise in connecting New York City events to customized connectivity solutions, Rainbow Broadband has supported global brands including Google, Microsoft, HP, Samsung, Twitter, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and many more. Rainbow Broadband frequently creates networks that support thousands of people in 48 hours or less.

“The customer-oriented operations at 325 Hudson made it an appealing facility to establish a Point of Presence,” says Russ Hamm, President of Rainbow Broadband. “Each PoP that Rainbow Broadband adds provides us with redundancy for increased reliability, as well as increased bandwidth and Internet speed for all of our customers. In addition, with more than 28 carriers currently at 325 Hudson, we have even more opportunities to provide ‘private-line’ cross-country connections for our customers.”

”We are extremely pleased to have Rainbow Broadband in our Meet Me Room,” stated John A. Danko, director of business development at Netrality at 325 Hudson. “We are also excited to see the excellent work they have done with special events and media in NYC. Rainbow Broadband represents a great addition to our interconnection community.”
